26 Days of Type
This year, White Brick participated in 36 Days of Type. We wanted to showcase our love for handmade crafts so that was the theme in creating our interpretation of each letter. Everything was made from scratch. Some letters involved playing with fire, assembling pipes, landscaping, painting, baking cookies and there were even syringes, bubble wrap, and ink involved. When COVID-19 quarantine came it was very challenging for the team but each one stepped up to complete the project and contribute at least one letter that they could do in their house using vegetables, salt, fruits, tea, ice, wires, etc.

36 Days of Type is a project that invites designers, illustrators, and graphic artists to express their particular interpretation of the letters and numbers of the Latin alphabet. A yearly open call exploring the creative boundaries of letterforms, where participants are challenged to design a letter or number each day for 36 consecutive days, as a global and simultaneous act showing the outcome of the ability to represent the same symbols from thousands of different perspectives. A project that aims to be a space for creation around typography and its endless graphic possibilities
